Position Title: Engineer, Process III
Broad Band: M9: Professional
2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
The Process Engineer is responsible to review technical work done by the Process Department and provide
technical/safety guidance and assurance. The Process Engineer will provide his inputs in the understanding,
assessment and active management of major plant activities. He will be directly imparting MPC objectives,
operations, and the achievement of its mission and values.
3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
Experience:
2 years minimum experience in Process engineering preferably in the fertilizer/ mining, oil and gas, chemical industries or similar.
Skills:
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Advanced knowledge of technical trends, interpretation, and application of industry knowledge
· Knowledge of Software like PIMS /PI /LIMS /Aspen
· Presentation and facilitation skill
4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Tracking specific consumption of raw materials on daily basis. Highlighting the abnormalities to operation department.
• Coordinating Process Licensors and equipment vendors with Operation for troubleshooting the problems
• Preparation of Daily Report/ Weekly Report/ Monthly Report
• Performance tests for equipment being carried out in regular frequency.
• SOW preparation, creating RTPC, Bid evaluation, Technical evaluation etc.,
• Participating in HSE and Operations RCA. Provide necessary support during any incident analysis, failure investigations etc.,
• TSR preparation for study request.
• Studies for RCA /MOC/HAZOP
• Catalyst and resin evaluation
• Developing reports (daily, weekly, monthly reports)
