Job Summary
Are you exceptional at storytelling and in making concise, meaningful presentations? We are seeking a versatile and dynamic professional to strengthen the Strategy Team in Dubai, UAE. This role is crucial within the EAME Distribution Division, which is providing governance and administration of Cat® dealers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia.

In the combined role of Communication Specialist and Strategic Governance Support, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing communication efforts and providing administrative support to our executive team.


Responsibilities Communication Specialist

Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to convey the organization's messages and priorities effectively. Pro-actively originate and create content, develop storylines and narrative, edit written content, including leadership short posts, articles, and internal communications. Manage Viva Engage accounts and weekly newsletters, monitor online presence, and foster community engagement. Design, experiment and produce new multimedia content to improve communication effectiveness, including videos, infographics, and presentations. Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels. Track, monitor and analyze communication metrics and provide insights to improve communication effectiveness. Collaborate with diverse teams and senior leadership to align messaging with organizational goals. Provide communication strategy advice to internal stakeholders.
 

Responsibilities Strategic Governance Support

Prepare, develop, and distribute concise reports, presentations, and documents for executive meetings and presentations. Act as a liaison between the Strategic Governance Support and other team members, ensuring seamless communication. Assist in special projects and initiatives as directed by Strategy Manager.


Basic Qualifications

5+ years corporate experience.

Proven track record in communications, including content creation, social media management, and multimedia production.

Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging content.

Proficiency in video creation and editing, leveraging the latest multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, InShot or other video editing software).

Fluent in English and either French or Arabic.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations or Business Administration.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Consistently meeting ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Skilled in managing ambiguity, working independently, and multi-task in an agile and fast-paced environment.

Maintain positive and can-do attitude and approach to work.

Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (including leadership team’s annual communication plan).

Ability to distil high level communication into meaningful context and actions.

Effective prioritization and stakeholder management skills (senior leadership timelines and requirements).

Experience in successfully navigating and working in cross cultural settings.

Planning and Organizing : Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

Copywriting and Editing : Knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing.

Internal Communications: Knowledge of techniques and media for internal communications; ability to produce and distribute news, newsletters and other communications materials targeted at the employees.

Multimedia Technologies: Knowledge of multimedia publishing technologies and procedures; ability to use audio, visual and animation software tools to produce multimedia publications.
 

Project Management Skills: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Content Management Skills: Proficient in overseeing content lifecycle from creation to distribution.
