Cargo Operations Agent, Emirates Group, Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose

Responsible for the efficient and quality handling and/or processing of all cargo, courier and mail within an assigned area of cargo warehouse/airside operations to achieve service delivery and efficiency targets whilst ensuring safety and security compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

Logistics/Cargo.Air Cargo :

10 Years schooling or equivalent :

2 years experience in a cargo/logistics environment Knowledge/skills: Demonstrable knowledge of aircraft handling, ramp handling, cargo terminal handling procedures High level of knowledge and demonstrable competence in Good Distribution Proactice (GDP) acquired through training and experience Fluent in written and spoken English Ability to use computer applications with previous knowledge of SkyChain an advantage Aability to successful complete basic cargo and dangerous goods ? Cat 8 Airport driving license beneficial Leadership Role No Safety Sensitive Role: Yes Details of Safety Sensitive role Yes/No Working at height Exposure to hazardous energy systems Yes Heavy lifting Yes Working in areas with motorised mobile equipment Yes Work in confined spaces Yes Contact with contaminations materials (Humans/Animals/Chemicals) Yes Contact with dangerous good Yes Work in an extremely noisy environment Work in heat Yes Working with pressurised substances Exposure to fixed protruding sharp objects Exposure to contact with moving/falling objects.
