The Opportunity & Team

The International Tax team of this leading CA firm is split into three different services lines, with one of them being Transfer Pricing. The team works on both private equity and corporate clients, providing advisory and compliance offerings. 

This is a growing team of professionals, and an integral part of the wider strategic plan for the business in the Middle East.

The Transfer Pricing team is supporting their clients in all aspects of TP: from planning and documentation to controversy issues, all intercompany transactions, and other issues. You will help the clients assess and monitors their transfer pricing practices. Due to the cross functional setting of the wider international tax team, you will have the chance to engage with your colleagues from other service lines, and attend training to improve you cross competencies and develop yourself further.

Responsibilities

You will be working on all stages of the project lifecycle, giving you well-rounded experience. You will be advising clients based on varied data and conducting analysis. You will be heavily involved in building and maintaining client relationships across several industries, and providing them with world-class service. You will be taking on an integral leadership position, and ensuring the high quality of work. 

Coordinate work with other service lines and global teams

Working with and valuing intangible assets, financial models, and developing approaches

Preparation of TP documentation, defending TP in audits

Providing innovative ideas

Applying complex TP concepts and your wider financial knowledge to provide to solutions  

Leading and managing teams of junior colleagues

Involvement in business development

Minimum requirements

Educated to Bachelor's level in relevant field: Law, business, finance, economics, other

Ideally also holds a CPA, CFA, CMA, or other relevant professional qualification OR a relevant Master's degree OR a relevant PhD 

At least 8 years of experience of working with Transfer Pricing or other relevant matters

Currently on Senior Manager/Associate Director/Director or other equivalent level

Worked in a large, global organisation - ideally advisory but industry experience can be considered

Fluency in English, any other languages considered an advantage

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven leadership and management skills

ability to handle several simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
