The jobs in this level are responsible for performing basic engineering tasks, such as technical work, under close supervision.

 

Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

Monitors the operating conditions, identifying and responding appropriately to problems, allocating or escalating them as necessary and records their rectification.

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.

Installing new production equipment.

Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.

Collaboration & Teamwork

Familiarity with the manufacturing and packaging machines ( Granulation machines , Vacuum loaders , Tableting machines , Capsulation machines , Blistering machines, Cartoning machines )

Understating of Pharmaceuticals industries regulations ( GMP , SOP .. etc. )

Familiarity with the mechanical system components ( Bearing , Shafts , Gears .. etc )

Familiarity with Pneumatic system components ( Cylinders , solenoid , FRL .. etc )

Ability to read mechanical schematic / drawings

Ability to allocate and define the needed spare parts

Ability to follow preventive procedure

Ability to communicate in English

English fluency is advantage

SAP experience is an advantage

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

+ 3 Years working experience as a mechanical technician in a pharmaceutical factory.

Mechanical Diploma is an Advantage

Basic electrical knowledge is Advantage
