Senior Process Designer, Wood, Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

Carry out assigned Process design work as part of a multi-discipline project team

Will be required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locations as per business needs.

To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project’s, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements.

Should be proficient in P&ID As built activities.

Knowledge of SP PID is preferable.

Preparation and checking of all types of Process design deliverables such as PFD’s, P&ID’s and Process Safeguarding Diagrams

Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD

To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline

To promote safe behavior at all times

Experience in smart P&IDs

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in Chemical Engineering

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry

Previous experience working on Iraq projects is preferential

Previous Wood experience preferred

Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel and Word

Experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design is required

Experience in the preparation and co-ordination of Process design deliverables 

Compliance with industry, international and Client Codes and standards. Onshore Oil and Gas related Process design experience

A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation
