Your role will be included but not limited to: 

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the hotel.

Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process to ensure the hiring of skilled and competent individuals.

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position.

Coordinate with external recruitment agencies, universities, and job fairs to expand the candidate pool and enhance the hotel's employer brand.

Conduct background checks and reference checks for potential hires.

Maintain an up-to-date applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with hiring laws and regulations.

Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the hotel's culture and operations.

Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and grievances.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.

Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

Assist in creating and executing employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys.

Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and proactively address any potential HR issues.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

A minimum of 2 years related experience in the hotel industry. 

Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of human resources administration. 

Advanced and demonstrable experience of human resource information systems.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
