Position Title Test Data & Regression Management Specialist (Trainee) Reports to Position Director Release & Deployment

Key Accountabilities (6 – 8 accountabilities max)
Accountable for adherence to Automation principles, test strategy.
Manage the functional regression testing.
Lead and provide guidance to MSP team for efficient execution of regression testing process.
Oversee regression planning, monitor execution plan.
Conduct regression periodic reviews with the stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Set up the guidelines around authoring of automation test cases.
Review the coverage of regression and sanity suite.
Work towards continuous improvement of Automation testing strategies and implementation
Implement test data management (TDM) strategy.
Facilitate extraction and loading a copy of production data into the test environments with secured data masking and anonymization techniques.
Oversee the on-demand creation of reusable data sets for testing teams and non-production environments.
Supervise resources and test data allocation, test data generation for various testing levels.
Manage test data pruning, data masking, resource recycling as per testing requirements for relevant stakeholders.
Control the process of onboarding of new applications to existing automation testing framework (Codex) and align with project team for its implementation and maintenance.
Manage the creation and modification of existing automation robots and foresee any issues or impediments around it and provide timed resolutions.
Provide insight on the strategic direction for new automation methods and DevOps technologies to adopt state-of-art software testing trends.
Oversee and manage the post-deployment validation in production and lower environments; conduct periodic reviews to improve the process around it.
Collaborate with Business stakeholders to ensure the required process is in place and establish a mechanism to support UAT testing activities and manage continuous improvement of the activity.
Oversee and manage the (Codex) existing reporting systems, dashboards and visualization of performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
4. Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience:
Overall 10+ years of experience in Telecom domain and Telecommunication related services.
Expert Knowledge of Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS) systems.
Experience in managing and leading a team and projects of high complexity & risk that contribute to longer-term business strategy and provide benefits to business.
Strong experience in formulating effective automation, testing strategies and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge on DevOps and Agile methodologies
Skills
Analyze and translate business requirements into test book.
Strong Knowledge in DevOps and micro services driven environment.
Strong knowledge in software testing approaches, quality assurance and control methodologies
Strong experience in test-driven software development approach and techniques
Experience include Agile, DevOps, Test Automation strategies.
Possess strong knowledge Service Oriented Architecture design for various telecom applications.
Specialized in Automation of E2E business processes/systems and third-party integration in core OSS frameworks with a view to bring overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Project and Vendor management, co-ordination for articulating requirements, solutions and delivery timescales
Strong knowledge about enterprise architecture and possess technical knowledge in J2EE, SOA, Docker, Design Patterns
