Job Description:
As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile financial statements and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and variance analyses.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
