JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview: The Trainer is a vital role within our brand, responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to equip our staff with the knowledge and skills required to excel in both the apparel and non-apparel segments of our brand. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication with our predominantly parent customer base. The Trainer will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of exceptional product knowledge and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a weekly training schedule for the team:
Develop and maintain a structured weekly training schedule, clearly defining the topics and sessions for our staff.
Track team performance on a weekly basis and create a performance dashboard:
Continuously monitor team performance and create a performance dashboard to assess key metrics, providing insights for improvement.
Develop a Brand training module to enhance the interpersonal skills of team members:
Design a specialized training module focusing on enhancing the interpersonal skills of team members, including effective communication and empathy.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to gather information on new product features and utilities, and share this information with the team through training sessions:
Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors and suppliers to stay updated on new product features, then relay this information to the team through training sessions.
Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions and workshops for both TOYS and Hard goods categories:
Develop engaging and interactive training sessions, utilizing diverse teaching methods for both toy and hard goods categories.
Collaborate with department heads to identify specific training needs and create customized training plans to address them:
Partner with department heads to identify department-specific training needs and create tailored training plans to address these requirements.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and continuously improve them:

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in the Kids non-fashion retail sector:
