Job Description:
People Lead - UAE
Locations: Bupa Office 1204, Burj Daman, PO Box 507019, DIFC, Dubai, UAE
Full time, permanent position 40hours
Role overview
You will be the first point of contact for managers and team members for employment issues and stages of the employee journey e.g., recruitment, employee relations, people policy, benefits, onboarding and offboarding. You will deliver cyclical people processes for the region e.g., salary review, payroll data, engagement surveys and related actions.
What you will do
Coach local managers to effectively manage their people in line with the Bupa Global people policies and procedures and in line with the Bupa Global corporate culture.
Site lead for generalist human resources advice and support. Includes resolving complex employee cases.
Local lead for recruitment with extensive collaboration with the central resourcing team, the People Partner and external providers where required.
Lead Payroll data for the site including working with external suppliers/government departments and internal Finance Teams
Ensure all people administration is accurately carried out e.g. personnel files, letters concerning changes in terms of employment, passports and complex visa and work permits.
What you will bring
Significant generalist experience within large complex organisations
Ability to foster strong relationships with influencing complex stakeholders, providing strategic and operational counsel.
Knowledge and experience within industrial and employee relations, with specific experience and understanding around local employment law and legislation.
Experience of implementing and supporting organisational change
Professional HR qualification relevant to local market/region
