Network Engineer, Al Haktur IT Solutions, Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a talented and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The Network Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our clients’ network infrastructures to ensure maximum performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions tailored to meet clients’ specific requirements.

Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.

Collaborate with clients to understand their networking needs and provide expert advice.

Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats.

Perform network capacity planning and recommend necessary upgrades or improvements.

Provide on-call support and resolve network-related emergencies promptly.

Document network configurations, changes, and support procedures.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or a similar role.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is preferred.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPNs, and more.

Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and other network hardware.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry trends.
