Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Manage & deliver E2E supply chain projects or sub elements of larger-scale projects on Emerging Markets Central (EMC) level across SCM & respective functions within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on the internal / external customers’ expectations and requirements.

The role will manage a pipeline of opportunities collaborating with SCM, Markets, LSP’s, Brand & Sales teams and identify areas that will help adidas improve Supply Chain visibility, decision making in the end-to-end value chain, service levels while looking at the right prioritization ensuring maximum output in the areas of,

Providing Supply Chain visibility through standardized tools

Determine & build elements for digital transformation strategy

Fulfil Data Quality improvement needs with Logistics Service Providers

Develop Continuous Improvement pipeline

Lead & Drive key projects related to SCM

Support successful realization of SCM Performance metrics (i.e. COTA-I, COTA-L, COTIF, etc.) covering Campaigns and non Campaigns

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Reporting

Drive clear and concise reporting needs, presentations for stakeholders/ senior leaders

Develop an in-depth knowledge of system landscape & supply chain dynamics so that you can determine how best to support the business through reporting & analytics

Responsible for enabling EMC SCM Senior Leadership to make fast, effective and data driven decisions through providing BI dashboards, reports, data & analysis.

Represent the organization and collaborate with IT partners on system enhancement and data requirements to address reporting & business needs

Interact with Global - Hub functions & LSPs on behalf of EMC SCM to understand their KPIs & challenges. Leverage data to drive improvements, transparency, and reliable processes.

Campaign management and proper tracking of events, stakeholders engagement

Co-ordinate with CTC, Sales, SCM and other stakeholders covering all clusters  within EMC to ensure timely delivery of goods and accurate execution in order to achieve SCM Performance metrics (i.e. COTA-I, COTA-L, LOTA etc.) covering Campaigns and non-Campaigns

Project Management

Identify opportunities within EMC logistics

Lead, steer and manage to successfully deliver the assigned global & x-functional projects, end-to-end, ideally through applying project management methodology and with effective communication to project stakeholders including Senior Management

Ensure full understanding of project scope, establishing the business case with potential risks and mitigation plan, raise any project/program scope ambiguities to seek clarity & to be able to design detailed project plans

Manage conflicts and escalations within projects, identify solutions and propose these to project sponsor and support their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner

Collect inputs from various stakeholders such as SCM, Brand, Sales and LSP’s on improvement areas

Manage the execution & completion of the defined project plan through effectively leading project team, coordinating resources, and managing project financials

Finalize all activities across projects/programs to formally close & hand over project, ensuring project documents are approved, completed, maintained, stored appropriately

Prepare and conduct presentations to SCM EMC leadership team and support with ad hoc requests

Successful process implementation

Project delivery, timely and accurate execution

Improvement in SCM Performance metrics  (i.e. COTA-I, COTA-L, LOTA etc.)

Continuous improvement projects

 

Key Relationships:

EM SCM: Supply Chain Management Hub teams

EMC SCM: Supply Chain Management teams

EMC: Respective Business Functions (i.e. Channels) & other functional counterparts (i.e. CTC, Customer Service, Finance etc.)

External: 3PL, Carriers

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Advanced Excel, PowerPoint

SAP knowledge

Fluent English skills (verbal and written).

Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required.

Pro-active (engaging & result-oriented) mind-set, ability to think end-to-end, process driven

Proven ability to interpret and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goals

Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment meeting tight deadlines with strong sense of urgency

Strong experience managing complex global projects/ several projects simultaneously with diverse stakeholders

Attention to detail with excellent analytical, communication & influencing skills when interacting with different levels of business

Strong data manipulation & modeling skills with MS Excel is required. Familiarity with Power BI, RPA, UI Path and ability to learn new technical tools is a definite asset

Knowledge of Supply Chain

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

University degree in Business or Supply Chain Management

Minimum 4-6 year experience in Supply Chain Management in a multinational environment

Project Management experience
