Job Description
What will you do?
Due to internal movement, we're excited to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our People, Safety and Sustainability team.
In this role, you'll be part of a team delivering H&S best practice to Firstgas Group's operations and activities. You’ll be joining a supportive team in a hybrid working environment, who work within an atmosphere where autonomy and flexibility compliments the challenging and interesting work environment.
You can expect to:
Assist with delivery of the Group HSQE Plan, working within the broader People, Safety and Sustainability (PSS) team.
Provide H&S technical advice and support to employees, franchisees, contractors and other stakeholders.
Promote the use and continuous development of safety management systems, standards and tools throughout the business.
Develop and embed internal H&S training refreshers.
Hazard and Risk Management (initial, review, monitoring).
H&S data monitoring and analysis and reporting.
Qualifications

As well as being a great team player who is passionate about what you do, you will have:
5+ years' H&S experience with high risk activities
Superior communication and influencing skills
Excellent writing skills - able to adjust to different audiences
Experience with behavioural based safety observation programmes.
A relevant tertiary Health, Safety or Environmental Management qualification.
