Summary
The Teaching Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting classroom teachers with the implementation of the curriculum.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be able to effectively:
Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly-defined and documented curriculum for students
Maintain a safe learning environment for students at all times
Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class
Supervise students during lunch and other break times
Assist with transitions during and between classes
Organize classrooms, work centers, and activity areas
Maintain instructional supplies, materials, and equipment
Demonstrate creativity
From time to time may be asked to assist with daily hygiene routines
Embody, uphold, and promote the ISG Learning Principles:

Learning requires a safe, collaborative environment
Learning requires feedback for growth
Learning inspires passionate engagement
Learning from failure requires a growth mindset

Qualifications and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience
Previous experience working in a classroom
Experience with Google Suite / Google Apps for Education
Skills
Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
