Field Service Engineer (Motion Control Application) – Dubai/Abu Dhabi

Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

The Motion Control Service Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Motion Control Low Voltage drives, motors and Automation system for a variety of industrial applications predominantly in the Water Industry, Petrochemicals and Oil & Gas sectors. 

Product selection, engineering and commissioning of Drives and Drive Applications.

Should have knowledge on Motors and their selection and applications.

Should have basic knowledge of Siemens Automation products and systems.

Installation and configuration, and documentation.

Should be able to visit site – extensive travel and be able to take independent decisions while solving issues at site.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical and Electronics engineering

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens Drives, Motion Control Applications and Basic Automation systems

Hands on experience in commissioning, and troubleshooting of Drive & Automation Systems

Knowledge on Motors – Selection and application

Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good presentation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel

Must be highly motivated and a team player; must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity

Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments

SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE

SINAMICS DCM

SIMOTICS

Discontinued Products (e.g. Simoreg DC-Master, Masterdrive, Dynavert)

Engineering and implementation of Drive Technology applications mainly based on SINAMICS Drive Control Chart (DCC) or Open Architecture (OA / SINAMICS TEC)    

SIMOTION SCOUT, SCOUT standalone and SCOUT TIA

Basics of SIMATIC S7-400, S7-300, S7-1200 PLC Systems and WinCC SCADA System
