Project Management Officer & Data Analyst, Africa- Middle East & Turkey
This position reports into AMET Supply Chain Director Consumer Health and is based at Dubai, UAE

What will you do
Lead improvement projects and provide superior End-to-End Supply Chain process effectiveness and efficiency and added value support to the challenging and diverse markets within AMET Region. This means delivering reliable, cost effective, improvements in the areas of operations, reporting, digitization and serve as link to AMET’s connection with the regional teams. Giving support to the AMET IMSC Director and AMET IMSC LT, deliver innovative and effective E2E Supply Chain Solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting & Digitization:
· Consolidate AMET reporting and harmonize were possible
· Work with subcluster leads for reporting needs (Availability, Risks and Opps, GP, NTS, SLOB drivers & actions, weekly flash meetings)
· Harmonize S&OP visualization for subclusters and AMET
· Work with regional teams to drive improvements for AMET regional meetings (Demand review, MOR, SLOB reviews)
· Consolidate planning reporting and provide feedback to regional teams
· Support digitization initiatives like: Master Data organization, Data Access, and Data insights
· Be the spoc to raise AMET requirements for regional support
Processes and meetings rhythm
· Organize and facilitate AMET SCLT meetings and Townhalls
· Organize & facilitate regional meetings (Demand review, MOR, SLOB reviews)
· Be the focal poc for regional teams in regards to meetings systems process etc
· Serve as a link to regional best practices and action / initiate respective improvement projects
· Consolidate and harmonize subclustered information for AMET management Board (S&OP, R&O etc)
· Facilitate change and transition projects (Diamond, Supply Network projects)
Drive improvements across directions
· Engage with sub cluster planning teams to review planning process and identify improvements
· Enhance automation & digitization capitalizing either on local or regional initiatives
· Represent and be the poc for regional projects execution (eg. Pangea, Anaplan, OTIF-D, S&OP maturity etc)
· Support subclusters on automation through either existing or new providers (CG DRM, VMI solution etc)
· Serve as a link to the GPEX community and represent AMET in respective forums
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Essential knowledge, skills and core competencies:
University degree in Logistics or Engineering. MBA or business qualification is a plus
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in operational or strategic Supply Chain roles required within relevant, comparable companies that
have large, complex (matrix) organizations.
Experience in commercial organization with frequent interaction with Marketing, Sales and Finance essential
Experience in FMCG and/or pharmaceutical industry
Understanding of the entire value chain and its primary activities and an excellent knowledge of the main elements, dynamics, and drivers in
the supply planning process (inventory planning, network planning, line scheduling and deployment), as well as in the forecasting process.
Preferably have experience and a clear understanding of the market environment with a focus on the various logistics operating models that
are in existence.
Experience in supporting the S&OP process including the use of state-of-the-art Supply Chain planning information system (e.g. SAP/APO,
Oracle, etc) and tools. Working knowledge in ERP and Planning systems. SAP R/3, APO and SNP strongly preferred. Experienced user of
MS Office, especially Excel capabilities are required.
Ability in identifying, developing and executing process improvement initiatives. This includes project and program management skills.
Well-developed business management capability, and a keen understanding of the business equation and how business and supply chain
decisions impact financials (P&L, Balance Sheet).
Emerging leadership and influence skills, able to bring vision to a group and cross departments by showing a strong customer service
mindset are required.
Demonstrate commercial thinking & strong customer understanding, focus and ability to connect.
Capable of operating within matrix organizations
Project Management skills
Emerging negotiation and influencing skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate large amounts of information leading to sound conclusions for effective decision making.

Continuous improvement mindset
A dynamic and self-driven personality, willing to go the extra mile even in periods of high workload.
