WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Logistics Manager to join a major project in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
Your new role, what's involved?
Responsibilities
Analyse construction programmes (including lookahead programmes) to understand resource requirements, associated transport requirements and resource volumes related to stockpiling / storage.
Analyse Contractors Construction Logistics Plans (CLPs) and monitor their implementation, under guidance of the Senior Logistics and Security Manager.
Stakeholder management - effectively deal with potential conflicts, ensure contractors are adhering to Project Logistics Strategy and brief contractors on Project Logistics policy.
Analyse Contractor Traffic Management Plans and ensure they are fit for purpose and do not impede other contractors or residents, under guidance of the Senior Logistics and Security Manager.
Review Plant and Heavy Equipment deployment and ensure that the required certifications are in place (operator and third-party inspection)
Develop Logistics Schedule Databases to consolidate all contractor delivery schedules to analyse road traffic movements and identify potential congestion, under guidance of the Senior Logistics and Security Manager.
Review Project Logistics Operations, suggest improvements and implement change.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
20 years’ experience on a major construction project; preferably in a construction logistics role.
Experience operating within KSA and being resident in KSA.
