About this role
We’re looking for a relationship builder who is passionate about “consultative selling”. This role will be responsible for developing new partnerships in both new and existing verticals with a focus on Tech and Digital solutions.
The Engagement Director will join an ambitious team that is spread across UAE and Saudi Arabia and has contributed towards the successful onboarding of household names across the Middle East. Your experience should include in-depth contribution within the consulting and/or digital agency side, where you will be managing executive relationships, overseeing the delivery of engagements, development of annual new business forecasts, identification of prospective clients and their decision-makers and building relationships with them, development of tailored marketing/sales strategy, leading the pursuit team, creating & presenting the proposal with the support of a cross-functional team and winning new business.
What you will be involved in:
Creating great outcomes for Monstarlab’s clients by thoughtfully forging long lasting partnerships
Leading business development efforts with a focus on Retail and Digital Transformation
Leading the creation of proposals, presentations, and other business development collateral
Providing Retail and Digital Transformation thought-leadership to key clients and stakeholders while spearheading new business efforts
Creating internal visibility and transparency in our pipeline and business development process, ensuring colleagues are brought into the process at the right time
Soliciting, receiving, and answering RFIs & RFPs
Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to transform knowledge of client business objectives, competitive opportunities, and customer insights into actionable strategies and tactics
Maintaining relationship health with clients as Monstarlab’s ambassador
Partnering with leadership and the marketing team to implement a marketing strategy promoting the brand and services through various online and offline activities
Partnering with leadership and the marketing team to create thought leadership materials (eg: blog posts, white papers, webinars, etc)
Participating in marketing events, webinars, and other networking activities
Conducting market research to identify new client and partnership opportunities Milestones
Has acted as the primary technical point of contact through the full development lifecycle
Has been recognized by clients or peers as a subject matter expert within fields of expertise
Has demonstrated the ability to take project-wide requirements and map them to the logical and functional models
Has participated in career planning and people development programs
Has been part of the recruiting process and made hiring recommendations
Has created a training module within fields of expertise and presented it to peers
Has written articles/whitepapers or presented at conferences or other significant events
Requirements
About you:
You have a successful track record (10-12 years) of sales and delivery experience within the consulting/technology services/digital agency/start-up environment within KSA and/or UAE
Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience within sectors such as Financial Services, Retail, Government and Healthcare will be a big advantage
If based in KSA, fluent Arabic is a must-have
Skills
Nurturing / Hunting mentality, driven to win new clients, and a demonstrated track record of sales and account growth
Industry or vertical-specific expertise and connections in Retail, Digital Transformation, and/or related fields
Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engage with executives and ability to speak to both tactical and strategic decision-makers
Ability navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, analyze, and create blueprints for business transformations and present solutions
Understanding of business development strategies for consulting firms, especially digital agencies
Ability to align IT strategy with business strategy
Extensive experience in creating pitch books, responses to RFIs and RFPs
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Outstanding presentation skills
Experience with Salesforce
Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator
Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
