Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
You will be part of the Partner Marketing Southern EMEA team responsible for developing and executing VMware’s integrated marketing strategy to create pipeline and drive scale with our channel partners in MENA– spanning distributors, aggregators, solution, service and cloud services providers, as well as selected Alliance partners relationships. You will report to SEMEA Regional Partner Marketing Manager, working closely with the local channel team.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Track priority KPIs such as pipeline contribution and ensure the successful allocation and approval of Development Funds in direct contribution to VMware partners' business objectives
Leverage and drive adoption of EMEA-wide marketing tools and programs such as Partner Marketing Catalogue, Partner Portal and Concierge Service to ensure we drive scale through the channel.
Support EMEA-wide events & incentive programs deployed in MENA
Supervise and monitor the execution of joint campaigns with selected VMware business partners
Partner enablement on marketing tools, processes, budget claims, and Partner Demand Center content to support integrated campaigns
Support regular Channel communication and local partner activities
Align closely with our EPIC2 values, driving Force for Good alongside our partner community
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must for this role with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a cross-functional team environment
Extensive marketing experience, preferably within the IT industry
Knowledge of the IT channel landscape/business is a clear advantage
Positive ‘can do’ attitude, 'hands-on' approach, creative thinking and responsiveness
Ability to multi-task and handle peaks in workload and deadlines.
Enthusiastic and self-supportive with the ability to work independently and within groups

This role reports to the Regional Partner Marketing Manager for the Southern EMEA region.
Where is the role located?
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from VMware's Dubia office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
