Customer: DHL Supply Chain - Finance

Grade: K

Contract Type: 24 Month Fixed Term Contract OR Secondment, with the possibility of extension and permanency

The DSC Reimagine Finance is a major change initiative that will transform how Finance is delivered and is a key platform for the 21st Century CFO. The program will position DSC Finance to maximise digital innovations and will deliver scale standardisation across 40+ countries.

The Project PMO will drive the day to day running of the project working closely with the Project Manager and will be responsible for delivery scope, governance and quality in line with the project phase and objectives:

Ensure roll-out and adoption of all PMO processes with all involved internal and external parties

Work with the Program and Project managers in managing program risks, issues and develop mitigations

Support project workstreams to track project progress, maintain project plan

Lead on discrete project phases like cutover, hypercare and take on responsibility for organising and leading major project events

Contribute towards continuous process improvement within the project

Support project manager in running status reporting forums including preparation of status reports

Ensure all project controls and documents are of appropriate quality, in place and accessible via the document management systems

Support quality assurance activities

Prepare communication materials for the program governance forums like Steering committee meetings

Organize and facilitate professional meetings and workshops, its documentation and minutes

What are we looking for from you?

The Reimagine Project PMO Lead must be an energetic, proactive and self-motivated team member. They need to have a mixture of leadership styles moving easily between being supportive and leading, and of course be a skilled influencer. Being able to see round corners is a distinct advantage for this role.

Previous involvement in transformation programs – essential

Project management experience - essential

An understanding of finance processes – essential

Experience of ERP (Oracle preferred), Process and Shared Services programs and initiatives – essential

Strong stakeholder management skills - including executive and steering committee levels

Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications required, in particular Excel and PowerPoint - essential

Highly organized and used to adapting to regular changes in priority, keeping internal and external customers informed of any impact on their tasks/projects

Highly proficient in English language

Experience of large scale global projects and change initiatives
