Summary:

Our client who is a known name in the Art & Culture space in the region is looking to fill a deputy director position for their Jeddah office. The Deputy Director directly oversees and manages the operations and development teams; liaises closely with local legal counsel and global/local finance teams

Role:

- Responsible for creating a positive, warm, inspirational and vibrant community environment

- Ensures the commercial and strategic success

- Oversees the development of organisation chart and the career progression of staff in KSA in close collaboration with the HR Manager and the Director

- Manages and sets the direction for the operations team (Facilities, IT, Visitor Experience, Administration) on all aspects related to the building including security, maintenance, capital improvements and expansions

- Develops and manages the annual budget in close coordination with Director, programming, operations and finance teams

- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with relevant government entities

- Develops networks across Saudi and beyond, to better enhance collaborative mandate; regularly represents the organisation at conferences and events

- Supports the Director and communications team in setting communications strategies

- Supports the Director in presenting organisation updates & reports to the Board

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience managing an entity related to arts and culture

- Atleast 2 years in a leadership role

- Arabic speaking is a plus, but not a must

- Be based in or willing to relocate to KSA
