About the job Airfreight Manager

Responsibilities:

Organizes, plans, and facilitates the day-to-day work

Responsible to ensure customers needs, requirements, and KPIs are met or exceeded

Continuously monitors supplier performance and implements improvement plans when required

Quickly identifies and resolves any operational issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction

Ensures compliance with export and import regulations when handling necessary documents

Builds and maintains strong relationships with key internal and external suppliers

Responsible for planning and executing successful implementation of new customers and supports sales processes to achieve growth targets

Develop and implement strategies to improve airfreight operations, including cost reduction and process improvement initiatives

At later stage, provide training and coaching as needed to ensure high performance and productivity

Any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director as needed to meet the business needs

Requirements:

minimum Bachelors degree in logistics, business administration or related field

6+ years air freight forwarding experience in UAE

3+ years leadership experience required

Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Strong development and management skills

Provide training and mentoring as needed to ensure high performance and productivity 

CargoWise software experience a plus
