I am currently assisting an international industrial manufacturing and trading company with their search for a Chief Accountant.
Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager. This role holds responsibility for the development of accounting practices and policies in line with corporate policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include, day-to-day finance accounting operations, ensure timely closing of accounts, processing of transactions, timely completion and closure of company’s books, banking relations, monthly reporting, prepare financial statements, ESR reporting, audit reports, ensure tax compliance and other regulatory compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s in accounting, Accounting or Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (ACCA, ACA, CMA etc).
Candidate must haves:
- 5 + years’ experience
- International Trading industry experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
