About the Job:
As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow our presence while developing our sales of specialty tyres and wheels across the Region - Middle East & East Africa.
Reporting to the Managing Director – Middle East & Africa, you will have the key mission of consolidating existing relationships with our current customers, identifying and catching new business opportunities with multiple categories of customers, such as tyre resellers, OEM’s, equipment dealers, rental companies, end-users, while upgrading our go-to-market strategies based on market requirements.
Hunger for sales, strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial mind and ability to work with a minimum level of supervision are key to succeed in this visible role offering tremendous opportunities for high achievers aiming to deliver a robust and sustainable business growth and strengthen market shares in a fast paced market environment.
Key responsibilities:
Set goals and develop Strategic Plans for business and revenue growth
Manage and grow the existing customer network and advise the type of support needed to meet annual targets
Develop a business network including major stakeholders within key end-users, dealers and public organisations supporting business lead collection
Manage the customer relationship through all phases of the sales cycle, while providing technical expertise, pricing, product information and promotional support
Raise brand awareness and knowledge by organising and actively participating in marketing events such as trade shows, demo days, training seminars, etc.
Follow-up on a weekly basis order intake, maintain regular communication with Customer Service teams related to lead time and shipments from factories, oversee stock levels and replenishment needs when/where relevant
Develop business cases for new products needed and new market requirements while collecting market intelligence to determine benchmark for pricing and product development
Key requirements:
Active Listening and strong Sales Drive
Hands-on approach and outstanding Leadership skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly present value propositions
Experience in selling premium products and solutions
Analytical and numerical skills
Good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
Experience in working for MNC ‘s in a transversal organisation
Optimistic outlook and resilient approach to changing context and market’s trends
Sense of discipline in meeting Customers’ expectations and Company’s target
Availability to travel and meet customers as well as end-users for at least 60% of the working time
Minimum 5 year experience working in a managerial sales role for a leading tyre company and/or a material handling/construction/tractor & farm equipment dealer
Already working or willing to relocate in Dubai (U.A.E.)
