About Our Client
Our client, based in Dubai is a one of the largest investment vehicles and invests globally across various sectors and asset classes.
Job Description
The VP/ Director will effectively lead & head the hedge fund manager selection process & portfolio management. They will be responsible for the following:
Selection of external hedge fund/investment managers
Monitoring the performance of the portfolio and adjusting as needed to maintain desired exposure levels
Recommending changes to the fund's investment strategy based on economic trends or other factors that could impact performance
Developing a strategy for managing a portfolio of assets in accordance with the return objectives and risk appetite
Conducting due diligence on investment proposals and review prospective fund reports
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in from a well reputed university, CFA preferred
Minimum of 7 years' experience within fund manager selection with a focus on hedge funds - this will either be at an allocator or investment consulting firm
Ability to relocate to Dubai
Strong communication skills and stake holder management experience is required
Well organized and detail oriented
