Our Manager - Supply Chain Excellence will be responsible to design a more efficient and effective supply chain management process that can promote aggressive performance goals across such areas as purchasing, general operations, distribution, and integration strategies.
G42 is an Abu Dhabi based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company with a global footprint delivering holistic and scalable AI solutions to a variety of commercial and government clients. The Group’s business operations cover a wide range of industry verticals including Healthcare, Government, Smart City & Smart Mobility, Oil & Gas, Fintech, Geospatial, Aviation, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Sports.
Responsibilities
Assess current procurement practices and suggest changes.
Review existing procurement policies and governances for the Group and develop new policy as required.
Develop working procedures and processes that govern the entire procurement activities.
Monitor supply chain activities and ensure compliance with the policy.
Set auction process, monitor the bedding progress and carry out negotiation.
Perform periodic supply chain audit, investigate nonconformances, analyze root cause, and provide guidance for corrective actions.
Highlight potential risk throughout supply chain activities and prepare consolidated report to management.
Develop, maintain and upkeep a Quality Management System (QMS) for the group supply chain activities in accordance with the latest ISO standards.
Set the scope for QMS certification, the quality objectives, and set action plans.
Form and lead the QMS implementation team, and draft the QMS policy.
Develop the Quality Manual including the QMS core procedures.
Lead the implementation of any new system automation project related to supply chain and contract management.
Develop system processes and mapping required for automation transformation.
Develop handouts and end user guide for new systems automation prior to Go-Live.
Develop set of standard templates of contracts, as well as PO general terms and conditions.
Establish an-end-to-end Contracts Lifecycle Management system.
Create library of clauses for quick use by users.
Create centralized repository for the group Supply chain contracts and agreements.
Author, review, and authorize contracts and approve final draft.
Liaise between business units, suppliers and the group legal.
Monitor post-contract activities, act proactively on contracts due for negotiation, and highlight saving opportunities.
In coordination with stakeholders, set criteria, evaluate performance and define development criteria for group suppliers.
Develop and enforce supplier code of ethics
Continuously perform cross-functional coordination with all heads of departments to set procedures for supply chain interaction.
Qualifications
10 years of overall experience in supply chain of which the last 2 years must be at an executive / managerial level.
Knowledge and application of warehousing management, distribution and logistics principles and practices.
Knowledge of quality assurance systems, frameworks and practices. Knowledge of supply chain excellence processes.
Knowledge of Automated Supply Chain Systems.
