Role Purpose:
Majid Al Futtaim has embarked in a very ambitious analytics transformation, leveraging state of the art data and technology to instill a data driven culture throughout its businesses. More than technology, the most important component of a transformation lies in its change management processes.
Based in Dubai in the Advanced Analytics Centre Of Excellence, and reporting into the Senior Manager, Analytics Delivery within the central holding company, the Analytics Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring that we identify and execute against a healthy group-wide pipeline of analytics use cases. They will also be responsible for the end to end delivery of these use cases.
To increase the impact of our analytics program, the Analytics Delivery Manager will help define and manage the change management processes, working closely with senior executives across our group. This role is critical to deliver the ambitious objectives of the A2 (advanced Analytics) team and will be a change agent that will help drive the analytics transformation by instilling a data-driven culture across the Group.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
■ Collaborate with the federated analytics units across operating companies to ensure we’re effectively identifying and executing against a healthy pipeline of analytics use cases
– Be the group-wide thought leader on all aspects of identifying and delivering on use cases (e.g., how to ideate, how to run a use case process, how to establish a use case squad, how to develop an effective roadmap, etc.)
– Understand the use case roadmaps and ongoing operations within each AA-COE
– Identify, prioritize, and execute on improvement opportunities across these plans and operations
– Collaborate with the existing Heads of Analytics to ensure you continuously add value to their use case agendas
– Collaborate with Analytics Translators across AA-COEs to streamline roadmaps, gather periodic visibility into progress made, communicate progress and resolve relevant challenges/bottlenecks
■ Harmonize, standardize, and define analytics use case best practices across the Group
– Establish and codify foundational best-practices to streamline all use-case related processes, establish frameworks and governances across the use case lifecycle
– Communicate and ensure adoption of best-practices throughout all AA-COEs
– Identify and elevate excellent practices within AA-COEs and establish it as the standard
■ Be the key point of contact for all Holding use case activities (includes head office functions and the group-wide loyalty program)
– Run use case ideation sessions to best understand the analytical needs of business stakeholders
– Empower analytics translators to ideate and enable them to be a part of the use case squad working team
– Develop and maintain a use case roadmap containing all use cases ongoing and to-be-executed while maintaining visibility on ownership, timelines, and progress
– Establish use case squads and ensure continuous cadence and progress against their agendas
Functional/Technical Competencies The successful candidate will have an exceptional track record of working within businesses to tackle large-scale problems, across multiple industries and functions and have strong analytics and data capabilities. Candidates are expected to be enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills, with intuitive storytelling ability. ■ Analytical, commercial mindset – strong ability to structure problems and leverage analytics in problem solving as well as a significant business acumen resulting from experience across multiple industries and functions

■ Subject matter leadership – outstanding track record of adapting to new concepts and getting an in depth understanding of a business area within a very short timeframe
■ Data leadership – enthusiasm and understanding of analytics and ability to be trained to use basic data analytics tools
■ Change agent – strong influence and ability to stand out and role model change in the organization
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
• Enthusiastic, filled with energy, excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and intuitive storytelling ability
• Ability to drive group-wide project deliveries with focus, collaboration and leadership
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills with the ability to make high-velocity decisions quickly and based on data, industry trends and stakeholder feedback
• Confidence, engaging leader, able to communicate a vision and bring people along on the journey
• High aptitude to learn quickly, assimilate to new teams and projects and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
• Pro-active problem solver with an ability to take initiative and have a strong sense of ownership over shaping and executing upon our analytics transformation initiatives
• A ‘change agent’ attitude, constantly pushing for new opportunities, more efficient processes and new perspectives
• Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous quantitative analyses and familiarity with analytics strategy implementation metrics and KPIs
• Passionate about working for Majid Al Futtaim and embodies the company’s values alongside the Analytics culture
Experience:
• Entrepreneurial mindset with 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, analytics and/or management consultancy
• Experience working in an analytics heavy environment or startup is a plus
Minimum Qualification / Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in in a quantitative field (mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, or engineering)
• Master's Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business management, economics or finance is preferred
