Your tasks:
Monthly input of accounting transactions into SAP B1, including standard monthly journals and ensuring that all relevant transactions was posted by the FI team for reconciliation purposes.
Reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts (Bank, Cash) to the Trial Balance and ensured that all outstanding items are followed up and cleared
Be able to assist with the accounts payable and receivable function, including reconciliations thereof, from time to time as required
Prepare monthly financial information up to Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income
Load transactions for payment on the banking platform for authorization / payment
Run month-end processes on SAP B1
Preparation of all month-end and year-end supporting schedules for internal & external reporting purposes & audits
To be able to assist with Budgets & Forecasts
Liaising with external & internal auditors
Assist with interim and year-end audit to meet deadlines
Ad-hoc administrative function to support the finance department
Assist with the monthly recording of financial information in the companies’ formal reporting systems
Your profile
7 – 10 years working experience in a similar role
Experience in similar industry (supply of goods and after-sales services)
Degree in Accounting / Finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles & concepts (Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards)
Knowledge of local statutory requirements and Value Added Tax (VAT)
Attention to detail, work well under pressure, deadline driven, be able to work independently as well as in a team
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Skilled in SAP (Preferable SAP B1)
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
Ability to work with different cultures, a good team player
