Key responsibilities
Perform timely first-line support of all portfolio applications, PC and mobile platform, networking and communications. Escalate higher level matters to 2nd line and to external support as applicable.
Ensure service requests and failure and security tickets are updated and resolved as per agreed KPI levels.
Provides basic orientation of Hempel digital systems and platform to new users and inculcate awareness of Digital policies and procedures and strict compliance on information security.
Focus and do necessary action on assigned projects to accomplish the milestones as per the deadlines.
Liaise with suppliers, ISP’s, service centres, application developers and other Digital contacts as per business requirements and for resolution of issues.
Ensure Company policies, procedures and controls are adhered to within the Digital function.
Keep costs within budget.
Develop effective working relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and other key stakeholders
Key tasks
Closely monitors and updates open incidents on a daily basis and follow-up with relevant users and supporters to expedite resolution of tickets.
Takes active part in local and global projects as may be assigned like PC replacements, network projects, telephony and other projects. Work closely with relevant Digital colleagues and updates the status accordingly.

Required education, experience and job-related skills
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer related studies
Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications
Project management skills
Networking and server management skills
Analytical and problem-solver
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills. Speak and write English fluently
Team player
Driving skills
