Worley is currently looking for a Tax Accountant to manageco-ordinate the various tax requirements in OUINA.
Job Description:
- Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
- Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
- Make sure that the location finance team comply with tax regulations
- Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws.
- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work.
- Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications.
- Keeps track of deadlines and deliverables for multiple locations.
- Maintains confidentiality of all personal financial information
- Offer support and guidance during audits.
- Liaising in with the consultant to finalize the Transfer Pricing compliance and documentation;
- Assistance in providing data to appointed consultant in relation to assessment proceedings before the tax authorities/ appeal proceedings before the appellate authorities;
- Assistance in providing information/replies to queries from tax department where consultant is not appointed;
Requirements and skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
- 3-5 years’ experience as a tax accountant.
- Solid understanding of MS Office word, excel and Oracle.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Communicates financial information clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
