Senior Coordinator Customer Service – Cargo, flydubai, Dubai, UAE

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To support all Pricing functions, Sales enquiries of flydubai Cargo in the UAE market and regional market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assists in freight accounting and verification.
  2. Ensures Responding to customer queries by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
  3. Assists with preparation of sales tariffs for all flydubai Cargo products and services on the basis of a prudent business case without an impact on the bottom-line arising from the proposed rates / deals for UAE and respective region
  4. Develops and build professional relationships with the cargo agents/freight-forwarders /shippers/consignees within air cargo market in order to enhance opportunities for the flydubai Cargo UAE and respective region.
  5. Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets/revenue for flydubai Cargo from various market segments through effective servicing of existing customer base and identification of new business opportunities from customers of the air cargo market. Monitor capacity available and coordinate with customer and department.
  6. Coordinate with all inter-departments inside/outside cargo department to support the smooth functioning of business in UAE and the regions 
  7. Develops possibilities of increasing revenue by calling customers/freight forwarders, and assisting   in monitoring competitor activities in UAE and respective region.
  8. Assists follow up for outstanding balances from debtors for on-time recovery for UAE and respective region.
  9. Ensures handling queries regarding rates, space and getting maximum info of the query such as number of pieces/weight/dims etc.in order to quote accordingly.
  10. Manages update of flydubai Cargo system with all relevant info for UAE and respective region.
  11. Coordinates flight bookings/reservations, updates and close out.
  12. Coordinate and support post office mail business from UAE and respective region and support them with post uplift proof of delivery & prepare performance report.  
  13. Maintains flight figures and statistics of customer-revenue per flight for UAE and respective region.
  14. Develop periodic for all origins weekly for all challenges faced (operational, pricing, administration, finance etc.). This report will contain the market intelligence and projection or the future (heads up on holidays, market projections etc.). 
  15. Coordinate and support the FZ and EK cooperation and alignment efforts for UAE sales and pricing, this requires interaction with EK HQ and EK UAE sales and pricing office.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education Level Required

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Education / Experience Specific Requirements

  • Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree)- 4

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

  • Computer literate with expert knowledge of MS – Office
  • Sound financial-analytical ability
  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of Arabic is desirable.

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
