About the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate, plan and produce internal communications to enable employees to feel informed, connected, and engaged.
Job Responsibilities:
3-5 years of experience as an internal communication executive, journalist, content writer, or copywriter.
Background in communications, publishing, marketing, agency, and business preferred.
Strong command of the English language with exceptional writing skills in a variety of topics from business strategy and long-form news writing to lighthearted, short, and fun content.
Ability to write high-quality content under tight deadlines.
Arabic speaking and capable to do copywriting in Arabic.
Confidence to research, engage, and communicate with others at all levels of the business to develop compelling narratives.
Commercial acumen, curiosity, and the ability to understand business objectives and how content fits into company strategy or a campaign.
Collaborative attitude when it comes to working with a team.
Support Manager, Internal Communications, in delivering internal communication strategy and engagement plan.
Ensure that business goals, initiatives, and people news are communicated effectively and in line with corporate purpose and values – committed, creative and collaborative.
Work with the Senior Manager, Internal Communications to plan and deliver internal communications for our change programs and campaigns, championing the importance of employee voice.
Manage and continuously improve overall channel infrastructure to ensure effective targeting of the messages.
Write, edit and create content for internal tools and platforms in the form of news articles, business stories, interviews with organization leaders.
Use passion and the strength of written content to keep colleagues informed and engaged with our business and company strategy.
Create, write and find engaging stories from across our markets and business verticals to populate our portal, digital app, newsletters, and other internal comms channels.
Collaborate with the internal comms team on written content creation for internal campaigns and launches.
Collaborate with the design team to manage the creative design of the newsletter and other pieces of content produced.
Support internal comms events.
Think outside the box and find new ways to drive the company’s strategic narratives.
