Role

Director, Financial Institutions (FI) Integration and Partnerships is a key leadership role in the Segment function within Strategy, Integration and Product Development in D&S. Segments provide the strategic direction for vision, products and capabilities to meet market, competitive, and client partner needs and act as a customer-first steward for our business. 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving Financial Institutions Integration and Partnership strategy forward, by consistently innovating, problem solving, and partnering across business lines. 

This role will be responsible for the Dynamic Yield (DY) capability integration by defining, developing, leading, managing and scaling product strategy to meet or exceed performance KPIs in collaboration with other business lines. 

The ideal candidate is a product manager with strong digital marketing technology knowledge, is passionate about designing and building data-driven, customer-focused solutions to customers, highly motivated, intellectually curious, solutions-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.  Additionally, the ideal candidate is well known for being highly collaborative, selling and managing projects to flawless completion, and passionate around building successful teams. 

Key Responsibilities

1) Product strategy support

• Together with existing DY product team, shape DY FI product strategy and execute against that strategy

• Build blueprint, constructs, and roadmaps, customer experience, KPIs and reporting, business case & product P&L

• Identify, advocate and champion DY, roadmaps and innovation informed by a deep understanding of customer, consumer and market needs, intelligence & research

• Build competitive benchmarks to inform differentiation and localize DY product 

2) Drive DY FI product evolution

• Drive growth of DY FI integration efficiently through productization and customer value creation 

• Build and manage product evolution roadmap 

• Identify and productize new and existing FI use cases to broaden the reach of DY capabilities

• Create and enhance new capabilities in adherence with Studio / Product Management Excellence discipline 

• Refine and optimize DY capabilities evolution, supporting go to market and commercialization plans in partnership with D&S sales based on measurement, results, feedback, learnings, and evolving FI segment and market dynamics

• Ensure DY product full compliance with legal, regulatory and data privacy requirements 

3) Manage a successful integration of Dynamic Yield platform into Mastercard D&S ecosystem, with specific focus on the Financial Institution segment 

• Identify, leverage, and embed DY withing existing MA product and capabilities (i.e., data, Loyalty, …) working closely with other product teams

• Prioritize integrations, define plans and estimate effort with consistent business cases (costs, revenues, market potential…)

• Manage global integration plans, oversee tasks to completion and resolve challenges to keep all activities on scheduled timelines

• Work with a team of Integration Specialists with deep knowledge of our products & services, as well as the products and services of DY

• Work with cross-functional integration teams as required

4) Be a go-to resource for and provide thought leadership on Dynamic Yield capabilities 

• Provide product / solution expertise to assist in crafting customer value propositions working with Marketing and Sales Teams

• Support customer-facing discussions with Mastercard customer-facing teams when needed

• Deliver product training

• Build product collaterals and supporting materials

5) Leverage technical knowledge and project management skills to apply forward thinking and reduce unforeseen challenges

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in digital marketing technology and personalization and tangible results in customer acquisition, lifecycle management, customer engagement, performance marketing and CRM

• Experience in analytics, data, consumer engagement, or loyalty 

• Product Management, Marketing consulting and/or CRM experience driving products, strategy, execution, and measurement 

• Passion for data, analytics, and insights to inform, measure and continuously improve products

• A successful influencer in matrixed and distributed (global/regional/market) organizations 

• Expertise of Mastercard data and core platforms

• Ability to influence and challenge

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to probe to understand customer needs

• Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally

• Exceptional at relationship building, conveying credibility and confidence

• Creative and curious about new digital marketing solutions and their practical application 

• High energy/passion/output

• Positive attitude and team player
