Responsibilities

The CORE Assistant Manager supervises the internal hub of the hotel combining Reservations and PBX functions as well as assisting directly the CORE Manager. This one stop shop is designed to ensure a seamless guest experience. CORE Assistant Manager must also be comfortable processing reports in different systems like HotSoS, MICROS and Excel. Liaising with hotel partners as well as administrative tasks such as performance reviews for the team, payroll submission as well as commission payment and follow up.

This role will be responsible for ensuring availability and rates are in parity through all booking channels and will contribute towards all areas of the department business. We are looking for an experienced professional with previous and relevant supervisory experience.

This position will also be responsible for:

Assisting on selling the hotel and providing information to prospective guests, capture sales from the incoming calls and coordinate details of each reservation
Ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. Involved in enhancing the pre-arrival experience as well as contributing to a seamless stay throughout.
As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility.
As the voice of the hotel, ensures that all communication channels operate flawlessly, including the hotel’s phone and communications systems.
Responsible for providing general information about the hotel and assisting callers as well as responding to emergencies by connecting the appropriate individuals by phone or other communications channels.
Oversees all incoming guests' requests
Oversee the entire sequence of service ensuring guest accommodations, calls and food and beverage orders and housekeeping requests are correctly processed and carried out within the stated delivery time according to Four Seasons Standards.
Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with high-speed Internet service, telephone and facsimile services, hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
“Clean” all systems of old reservations and updates new reservations in Opera system
Participating in scheduling and supervising CORE team
Take charge of the department in the absence of the Reservations Manager and handle special projects delegated by the CORE Manager
Provide hands-on training for staff on a continuous basis ensuring their knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities
Review/analyse call volume report and abandonment rate; Take action as appropriate
Supervise checking of arrival and ensure that reservations are correct and handled proficiently
Ensure all CORE team always promotes FS App awareness and usage to all guests
Ensure all CORE team and department heads are fully aware of the FS Char functionality, promotes a strong Chat user culture in the entire hotel.
Actively train the CORE team on Four Seasons benchmark and standards specially Aspire test calls.
Participating and facilitating training and assist in developing the CORE agents and supervisors.
Conduct daily departmentally briefing.  
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals who have computer knowledge with good communication skills. Previous experience of 2-3 years preferred in Reservations in a luxury environment. Applicants are required to have high analytical and organizational skills.  Speaking, writing and reading English is required. attitude and willing to learn is a must. Has passion for quality, leadership skills and result-oriented personality.
The ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills, and s/he is guest-oriented. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.
