About Consumer Health
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health and your employment would be governed by New Consumer Health’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Role Summary:
The Commercial Operations Specialist will be responsible for the LEVANT, North West Africa, and Pakistan region. The main scope is the central coordination for all Dubai Hub based support function activities for LIP-NAWA markets. Central coordination of Brand and Customer review meetings for NAWA, IRAN/Pakistan and Levant Markets. The collection, integration and analysis of business data and insights, operational process improvement projects, such as standardization of activity grids planning and tracking across markets, standardization of in market measurements in the lack of Nielsen data, standardization of supply chain processes/data across different distributor setups, etc.

Duties And Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility to deliver Blue Cluster NTS and share objectives via:

Work closely with Operations Manager and Blue Commercial Director, analyze business trends, provide insights to support management decisions.
Ensure strong B&C review routines are in place for each sub cluster. Coordinate meeting routines out of Dubai office.
Develop standard management reports to support Commercial Managers daily operations
Ensure all reporting/analysis capabilities are incorporated into distributor systems and require minimum central / any human interventions
Work closely with distributor trade marketing / sales and IT departments to enable them to create efficiencies in their systems
Ensure that any operational efficiencies are captured by commercial teams e.g. margins, carrying costs & infrastructure
In markets where market information is not available, work with commercial managers and distributors on business indicators.
Business Plan Management:
Support Commercial managers on the business planning process, aggregate information at Blue Cluster level.
Develop by Blue Cluster master business/activity plan format and work with Sub clusters on Annual Plans and tracking.
Business Operations Standardization:
Check distributor key processes such as forecasting, trade spending – return on investment tracking, order processing and if there are discrepancies align with commercial managers gaps and action plans.
Support Commercial managers in the process of identifying drivers of distributor costs and develop plans jointly with the distributor to improve efficiency e.g. carrying costs and sales costs.
Cross Functional Working:
Work closely with AMET GSI team, understand all tools and ensure proper application of these tools at relevant markets where we have Nielsen Data.
Work with finance team, align on formats and data flow from distributors and support commercial managers on the standardization of distributor data sharing.
Work with Supply Chain team and understand forecasting data needs and standardize data availability from distributor level.
Support commercial managers on Brand and Customer review coordination from Dubai office across different functions.
Work collaboratively with the shopper and customer team to ensure best practice application of investment, in store drivers, customer partnerships and distribution.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Financial Management or closely related specialty. Post-graduate education or equivalent experience in Finance/Economics is desirable.
3+ years of total work experience in a similar role.
1+ years of data analytics, Nielsen or relevant in market reading company or key business partner experience, Supply Chain operations experience or Customer fronting sales experience.
Experience from a multi-national or regional company.
Strong analytical skills with the ability of simplifying complex data sets.
Ability to analyze trends and drive business insights.
Sound business acumen and experience of understanding key business drivers in FMCG categories.
Finance at a non-functional level e.g. how a P&L works, pricing.
Well-structured, focused & setting clear priorities - Proven self-starter with strong initiative, enthusiasm for business, and results orientation with an interest in innovation.
Ability to think strategically and creatively.
Process and project management skills.
Communication Skills – Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
Organizational Skills – Able to manage periods of heavy and conflicting demands.
Proactive & Self confident - High Ethical standards & follows JnJ Credo.
Must be able to work well in cross functional teams, both as a team player and a team leader.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Nielsen, Ipsos, IRR reporting systems, ability to drive reports from Raw Data. Project management tools is a plus.
Excellent Verbal and written English. French or Arabic is plus.
