Role Summary
Talabat corporate responsibility and sustainability team is looking for someone passionate to drive and grow our giving back arm, which requires the design, implementation, and reporting on CR initiatives related to giving back to the community.
As a CR associate, you will work closely with local leads to help execute, collect data, market, communicate, and report on the giving back pillar of Talabat's CSR programs in Talabat’s eight markets across the GCC and MENA.
Your role will be vital in helping Talabat's brand become more closely associated with giving back to the community.

Furthermore, you can explore your creativity in that topic as you will be encouraged to provide innovative solutions to the team on how we can embed giving back as part of Talabat's culture.
What’s On Your Plate?
Lead local market leads on achieving Talabat's ambitions by giving back targets in Talabat’s eight markets.
Collect and analyze data pertaining to giving back which will be used for quarterly internal and external reports.
Familiarize yourself with local data monitoring and analysis tools to extract useful insights to drive giving back with data-backed suggestions and initiatives.
Align with business functions to ensure smooth operation of all giving back initiatives. This requires close alignment with charity / NGO entities, as well internal stakeholders.
Drive conversations with the product and tech team to enhance giving back through tech innovations.
Lead local teams in drafting internal and external communications and marketing material regarding donations and giving back.
Reporting to and aligning with the regional CSR manager on programs’ progress per market.
Support the CSR manager in planning and further developing the giving back pillar at Talabat, to ensure the brand is more closely associated with giving back to the community.
Research and benchmark best practices across markets and brands and create a playbook to improve the business case.
Keep track of changes or developments in CSR such as industry best practices, regulations, certifications, etc.
What Did We Order?
Passion for making a meaningful difference in the community while achieving business goals.
Professional experience with CSR, and/or non-profit work.
Bachelor's degree (preferably in sustainability, business administration, public policy, communications, social sciences, or related corporate responsibility field or any related field)
0-3 years of experience in CSR and Sustainability. .
Professional experience with corporate communications / public affairs is a plus.
Sustainability / GRI certificates are a plus.
Project management and experience in leading CR initiatives is a plus.
Very good analytical thinking skills and approach.
Ambition to start a CSR career path in a new, exciting, and dynamic field.
Proficiency in the Arabic language is recommended.
