Job Sumarry:
Ensure the complete and timely implementation of internal import/expot process. Highly skilled in designing SOP, process flows diagrams. Experienced in developing and catering to new tenders, developing proposals, SLA/KPI’s and analyzing tender response from GMG’s partners.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and design internal import and export multi modal processes, coordinate and obtain information for the same from internal stakeholders, obtain approvals and provide trainings for the same.
- Develop air/sea/road tenders including but not limited to company profile, scope of work, SLA/KPI requirements, penalty clauses, billing and finance, rate cards and obtaining sign-off’s
- Excellent proposal management skills, reviewing and comparing tender responses.
- Supporting GMG’s supply chain teams in coordination and monitoring of shipments with forwarders.
- Conducting and arranging MBR’s, QBR’s with GMG’s nominated forwarders.
- Coordinate and drive all concerned internal stakeholders to manage program timelines to make sure processes are implemented on-time.
- Identifying GAP’s between GMG’s contract with forwarders and taking initiatives to provide solution and resolving the same.
- Close coordination with GMG’s internal warehousing/project’s/brands teams to catering all AD-HOC requests.
- Ensuring the shipping team is actively adhering to the contracted tenders/rate cards.
- Supporting in finding and designing solutions to improve the existing internal process.
- Taking initiatives in improving the shipping elements related to the end-to-end freight cycle from pick up till cargo delivery. Such as improving invoicing, internal tracker updates, payments process etc.
- Close coordination with GMG’s partners for C&D and documents processing such as SABER, COO, SADAD payments etc.
Educational Qualifications and Certificates:
- Bachelors Degree
Experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and efficient
Skills:
- Knowledge in freight (air/land/sea) operations, mainly for GCC.
- Good communication skills- written and spoken
- Good teaming and interpersonal skills
- with 3-5 years’ experience in designing operational process, handling and creating tenders.
- Must possess excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- Freight Process mapping and operational flow diagrams knowledge
- Good in MS Excel and Visio
- Good in high level ppt skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
