Role: ACCOUNTANT or ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
Job Description:
· Oversee the duties of the accounting team including regular bookkeeping tasks.
· Coordinate for implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
· Support in monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
· Conduct the reconciliation of cash and inventory at multiple locations.
· Take over and improvise on the whole process of suppliers and payables management to improve the financial reporting efficiencies.
· Improve the lead time for the preparation and execution of certain administrative tasks including but not limited to LPO preparation, document signatures, supplier’s database management etc.
· Help with statutory filings as per UAE laws, especially VAT.
· Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit processes.
Education and Experience
· Accounting qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
· Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and practices
· Technical accounting skills
· Previous experience of general accounting (Desirable not mandatory)
· Basic IT Skills such as MS Excel, Word etc.
