Purpose of the Job:
- To work with our Sales Team to provide innovative solutions and applications to drive differentiation in our offerings. Provide support in driving the quality of the pipeline, an increased sales conversion rate and ultimately growth in our contracted projects EBITDA.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Project Engineering Team and Sales Teams to develop customer solutions that are achievable and meet the required financial metrics.
- Provide technical sales training for new and existing technologies.
- Manages the incoming workload of project sales enquiries for new technologies
- Manages the application design and associated workload for all complex enquiries.
- Provides Engineering advice to the Commercial team on the technical component of bids.
- Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence initiatives
- Aggreko place a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection. Person Specification/Job Requirements:
- Engineering degree qualification. Chartered status would be advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of Power Engineering.
- Team player and personally enthusiastic
- Action-focussed – reliable, committed to completing tasks.
- Resilience – persistent, positive and self-reliant.
- Fully conversant with power generation equipment and associated support infrastructure. Ability to view situations and conduct themselves in an objective and impartial manner
- Positive Change orientation and motivator
- Must be culturally sensitive
- Able to travel internationally
- Cross cultural work experience is advantageous
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communicator & Self-motivated
- Numerate, data-driven
- Able to manage multiple project work streams
- Strong coaching, development & Leadership skills.
- Fluency in English is required, and one other European language would be highly regarded.
