Role Overview:


Bechtel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The role will be based in Talent Acquisition Operations and will collaborate with the regional talent acquisition team in the creation, maintenance, communication, and implementation of programs and processes to support global talent acquisition strategy and execution.

 

Specific areas of focus include (but not limited to) assisting with the development and usage of data/metrics/reports, management of candidate onboarding/pre-employment processes, training/quality control of TA staff, systems enhancements to support operations, TA event support, global contingent staff management, creation and refinement of TA processes/procedures

 

In addition to the primary responsibilities below, the successful candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and contribute quickly to unscheduled tasks and requests, collaborate with the entire team and interact with executives and all levels of employees. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in the development, delivery, and communication of training programs for the regional talent acquisition organization (recruiters, coordinators), and hiring managers
  • Work with operations team to review and refine the current talent acquisition training materials and assist in effective training roll-out and adoption by the regional talent acquisition team
  • Assist in the communication of process updates to the regional talent acquisition team, hiring managers, other stakeholders
  • Participate in the contingent workforce management in the region, ensuring the strategies are consistent with overall talent acquisition strategies and that the function is providing end-to-end services for agency contractor engagement
  • Partner with the Operations Lead in the compilation and presentation of regional talent acquisition metrics and reporting as it relates to data quality, stakeholder reports and dashboards, and utilization of metrics to inform decision making
  • Work with the regional talent acquisition team to resolve regional data quality/compliance issues
  • Participate in the planning and execution of virtual and in person regional career events
  • Manage required pre-employment processes in the region such as background investigations, employment/degree verification, drug-screening, right to work/employment verification.
  • Manage regional employee referral bonus programs including verifying candidate/employee eligibility and coordinating bonus payment with local payroll.
  • Supports the Operations Lead in other areas and activities as required 

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and 1+ years of experience OR 5+ years of overall experience in lieu of a degree
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (including fluency in English)
  • Mid-level experience with MS Office suite (including experience with PowerBI and Visio)
  • Ability to assess and present data as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize & meet multiple individual and team deadlines in a fast paced, changing, dynamic work environment, with strong attention to detail 

 

Additional Qualifications

 

  • Prior Bechtel experience working in either human resources and/or talent acquisition
  • Broad knowledge of Bechtel TA systems (TalentWorks) and TA methods and work processes
  • Knowledge of Bechtel’s organizational structure, functions, and administrative procedures
  • Ability to influence internally without direct authority with strong covenant-based behavior
  • Works well with teams and other departments, including experience working in cross-GBU environments
