About the position:
We are looking for a creative content creator to join our team! This is an entry level position into our marketing team, this opportunity will see you interact with different functions within the marketing department, mainly focused on content creation for Social Media channels. You will be representing the brand and the company on digital marketing efforts and social media channels, visiting and interacting with vendors and stakeholders, managing regular social media posts, and creating videos, images, and various digital marketing content aimed at increasing engagement. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity in organizing all types of events and functions to generate interaction and engagement.
You will need to utilize your information in performance marketing, metrics, strategies, content creation, optimizations, ads and much more in coordination with our marketing teams in each of these functions.

What Youll Be Doing
- Key Responsibility: Mange elGrocers social media & content development with the Marketing Communications Manager
- KPIs: Engagement rates, awareness level, brand love and reach across social channels (push, social, email, etc)
- Creative ideas for social based on our brand strategy & marketing calendar
- Hands on content development to bring our brand to life (Both: on ground and shooted content to feature retailers, new stores joining elGrocer, new products + design created content and ideas with help of graphic designers to populate elGrocer social media page. Ex: Greeting posts on holidays, memes, recipes )
- Plan, organize and schedule posts/Stories on our social media calendar in organized and proper way
- Build our social community management & engagement
- Jump on & leverage relevant social trends
- Gather customer & community insights to share internally
- Support the marketing team with influencer program(s)
- Report & analyze to constantly improve strategy, content and engagement
- Competitor monitoring & reporting
What You Should Already Have
- Strong understanding & psychology of customers & markets
- Creative ideas
- Action & Execution oriented (hands on)
- Outgoing personality & Great communicator (English & Arabic)
- Extremely well organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Ambitious to build a strong reputation
- Strong work ethic and drive, high attention to detail, and desire for a high level of ownership
- Strong command with tools of the trade (eg. Excel, PPT, Google Drive)
