Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and lead the pricing process for existing and new solutions, tenders etc. in close coordination with the department heads of operating units and sales managers, corporate finance
• Ensure all export bookings and booking forecasts are timely processed in order to ensure sufficient space or cater for any deployment changes caused by change of bookings.
• Analyse actual and anticipated booking and volume flow trends in order to optimize planning of MILAHA vessels in conjunction with Dubai Operations
• Acting as Commercial Liaison for Gulf Region and other entities
• Formulate and implement appropriate SOP and plans for agencies which enable the CS achieve objectives
• Ensure to timely respond to the concerns or queries of shipping lines and agents in connection with booking, loading, discharge, shutouts and disputes on feeder invoices.
• Day-to-Day guidance and assistance to the junior staff with regard to Reports, Invoicing and other routine jobs
• Over-all look the commercial department activities to ensure a smooth operation.
• Backup for customer service activities and maintain excellent relationship with the Dubai clients.
• Assist in the implementation of departmental processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements
• Implement and actively enforce compliance to work processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and the protection of the environment.
• To successfully negotiate slot rates / space with feeder operators and mainlines.
• Ensure that pricing is done as to not lose the bookings as well as keeping an eye on profitability.
• Work closely with Manager NVOCC and Accounts to analyse trade profitability as well as develop niche' markets.
• To successfully negotiate slot rates / space with feeder operators and mainlines.
• To constantly update slot rates and seek maximum rate reductions.
• Coordinate with agents regarding pricing issues and queries in a prompt efficient manner
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification:- Min. Bachelor's degree in business management / economics / supply chain
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in business modelling or financial modelling
- Experience with data mining, data analysis, business intelligence software
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Strong commercial mind set
- Multi-tasking
Geographic Experience:
- Global experience is essential
Computer Skills:
- Advanced Excel modelling
- Strong presentation skills
Language Skills:
- English (Mandatory)
- Arabic (preferred)
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
- Industry: Supply Chain / Logistics / FMCG/ Financial Services
- Function: Pricing and Commercial / Financial Analysis
