Role Purpose:
The Inventory Control Manager supports the Finance Department through the use of inventory management techniques to determine optimum level of inventory ensuring overall Inventory Control efficiencies. Leading a team of Inventory Controllers, they ensure day-to-day tasks of updating inventory records and stock counts are effectively delivered, minimizing inaccurate inventory reporting and stock loss.

Responsible for the planning of the Full Year Inventory Count calendar and overseeing the seamless execution of the cycle count schedule.
Plan the manpower and other resources for the inventory count working collaboratively with the Store, Warehouse and Finance teams.
Responsible for swift and accurate reconciliation and resolution of inventory variances, identifying the drivers and recommending appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
Oversee the preparation of the inventory aging report, flagging the risks to relevant stakeholders and working with Excellence and Compliance and Marketing teams to devise ways for sale of products.
Oversee the master data for all stock and ensure data sanctity and alignment.
Coordinating with the relevant stakeholders to perform day to day and monthly inventory operations
Coordinating with the warehouse team and arrange random counts to ensure accuracy of stock stored in the warehouse versus system.
Work with Store management Finance Manager to ensure optimum level of inventory and effective allocation of capital.
Review, design and put in place adequate inventory control function-related business processes, ensuring the update of all Standard Operating Procedures, recommending necessary policies and procedures that will make the delivery of the functions’ objectives effective and efficient.
Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
Establish a strong cross-function working relationship supporting Store operations with effective stock control initiatives.
Liaise with the store management to ensure solving any concerns that might arise related to stock and inventory.
Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the community and contribute to the net positive impact, and health and wellness.

5-7 years’ experience in the Retail industry
