MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To collect and submit medical record data for registries, regulators and internal improvement processes and perform data analysis for performance and accreditation submissions
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To collect and analyse data for registry, regulator submission and certification applications
Coordinate the data collection and verification between various departments
Guide and support the validation processes required for record keeping purposes
Extract and consolidate data from various data sources for use in the business
Present data analysis and related metrics to various stakeholders in business
Develop internal processes aimed at improving data quality
Participate in quality improvement and performance optimisation processes aimed at reducing costs and optimising billing
Present relevant training and education on documentation and data quality
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant formal qualification in Health Informatics or Statistics
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years' relevant clinical experience in a related field will be an advantage
Cancer registry training and experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Healthcare industry
- Computer Literacy (Mircosoft)
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge and experience in quality improvement methodology
