Job Description
Establish and manage the business development and sales activities of VESE. The main goal is to achieve short and long term business and financial objectives in line with business growth targets.
Manage business related data to improve business intelligence, which will be used for the monitoring of business performance and business development. Identify, develop and integrate digital solutions to meet business objectives in the short, medium and long terms through continuous improvement and in accordance with the Integrated Management System.
Business Development:
Overall responsibility of VESE Business Development Department; front and back office administration, which includes but not limited to achieving overall sales targets and efficient function of development administration related to contracts and timely documents compliance.
Develop and execute the Business Development & Marketing Plans of VESE and subsequently work on the execution of such agreed plans.
Develop and maintain customer relationships and promote up-selling where possible to maximise financial and business efficiency in line with BD plans.
Manage the contract lifecycle from BD point of view → From RfI to contract termination.
Strong liaison with operations to ensure operations & HSE compliance during bid submissions.
Ensure the planning, review, approval and execution of new and existing VESE contracts.
Technical and financial reviews of new / existing opportunities & business cases in coordination with relevant managers.
Develop, maintain and update cost / forecast models to simulate cost projections for accurate and up-to-date pricing and bidding purposes.
Work in coordination with Veolia UAE Geo and Veolia Middle East business development teams for support as and when required
Business Intelligence & Support:
Support VESE team to set up secure and reliable data collection from field operations.
Standardize data collection and visualization process and maximise automation wherever possible.
Develops, manages and supports the KPIs dashboarding process in VESE.
Support and lead the digitalization process for VESE including liaison with Veolia group. Identify and develop digital solutions inline with the group digital strategy.
Support the development and implementation of asset management and digital tools within VESE.
Support operations function of VESE as and when required.
Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her manager.
Qualifications
Hold a relevant educational qualification from a recognized and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function, minimum Bachelor Degree.
Business Development and performance management background.
Middle East experience is an advantage
At least 5 years experience in waste management/logistics/transportation. Experience in data analysis and business modeling.
Data / IS&T Management.
Waste Management/ Logistics experience.
Experience with CMMS / CAFM Systems.
Working knowledge of relevant software and hardware.
Analyzing and interpreting automated system problems.
UAE valid light vehicle driving license is a must.
