GP Strategies are looking for an Automotive Sales and Product Trainer to work with a Premium Automotive Brand in the UAE. You'll love learning and development, and know exactly how to communicate that passion to your fellow learners and peers. 

 

The successful candidate will need to reside in Dubai and be based locally at the client training centre.

About the role

 

You’ll make a difference in how we evolve employee engagement and customer experience through GP Strategies innovative approach to learning and development. You will deliver and elevate Sales and Product training to the agreed specification, quality and standards.  You’ll work in harmony with the GP Project Manager and client Training Manager to plan, manage and organize personal time to ensure the required balance between training preparation and delivery is met.

 

With your drive to inspire and develop others, you’ll be instrumental in influencing the impact of learning as well as employee engagement, development, retention and customer satisfaction in the client's dealership network.

 

Additionally you’ll:

 

  • Act as a brand Ambassador for the client and GP Strategies, displaying at all times, enthusiasm, knowledge, brand values and behaviors of both organizations.
  • Deliver client approved training materials in line with the dealer training needs requirements and training schedule.
  • Follow a process of continuous improvement in the delivery methodology of all training materials.
  • Embrace GP and client innovation solutions and the use of technologies to improve the overall learner experience and competence.
  • Develop cross functional knowledge and subject matter expertise as agreed with the management team, in order that all required courses can be delivered in line with agreed quality aspects, and to the client's standards.
  • Regularly communicate with the management team to ensure work is planned effectively and that all GP and client processes are adhered to.
  • Support the development and local adaptation of training materials as requested.
  • Continually develop personal subject matter expertise, knowledge and skills supported by the GP Faculty Team as required.
  • Actively engage in and promote a flexible, co-operative ‘can do’ culture within the team and organization.

 

What we need

 

An enthusiastic and energetic Automotive trainer experienced in virtual and face-to-face training delivery.

 

Additionally we’ll need:

 

  • Previous experience as a Sales/Product trainer in the Middle East region, ideally with a Premium Automotive brand.
  • In-depth skills in training & coaching development, delivery, and methodology (Digital & Face-to-Face)
  • Strong analytics, presentation, reporting, MS. Office: Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Good knowledge on economic data, competition, dealership processes (sales/aftersales/technical/wholesale and retail)
  • Strong soft skills (e.g. communication, social, persuasiveness, self-management, willingness, creativity, customer orientation, intercultural awareness, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
  • High affinity for the use of innovative media and formats such as VCT (Virtual Classroom Training), video, online boards, etc.
  • High coaching competence (the ability to guide others to reflection and self-knowledge)
  • Awareness of Automotive retail processes and factors influencing competence development.
