Department - IT
Role Purpose:
To constantly enhance the existing processes through the creation of new applications and providing comprehensive support / enhancements on existing third-party applications like ticketing systems, online booking systems and MIS reporting.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Applications Support
Ensure smooth operations at all times (including weekends) by providing comprehensive support for all applications, specifically Vista, Viva, and Embed ticketing systems. (This would also include onsite visits to the Cinemas)
Test and monitor online booking engine to ensure maximum operational efficiency and provide weekly reports and statistics of Online booking. Co-ordinate with the web agency to resolve issues.
Install and test all new features of latest Vista, Viva and Embed releases and provide recommendations supported by technical and user documentation.
Coordinate with VOX academy for training new recruits on ticketing systems.
Development of applications including, but not limited to, helpdesk systems, online transaction check systems, workflow system and custom reports based on requirements.
Support third party applications, as and when required.
Reporting & Business Analysis
Database administration by performing and monitoring SQL maintenance tasks.
Manage and generate MIS reports required by the business.
Compare various reports from sites and head office modules to ensure data integrity across all reporting platforms.
Develop VOX- process documents and assisting in creating I.T policies and procedures documents.
Extract and analyse the helpdesk reports.
To ensure that the audit recommendations on POS and Vista are being adhered to, by monitoring and maintaining sufficient documents and performing internal audits at site systems periodically.
Master Data Management
Administer and manage the master data within the ticketing system, covering different modules such as rewards, HO, Analysis , Voucher management and any future modules that the business might subscribe to.
IT Software
Responsible for Vista, Viva, and Embed application rollouts for new sites, and for implementing new features vista releases.
Responsible for upgradation and Vista, Viva, and Embed troubleshooting.
Responsible for troubleshooting and fine-tuning of IIS, apache and Vista ,Viva and Embed servers on application level.
Resolve the issues related to Vista, Viva and Embed and in-house app with in the SLA terms.

Personal characteristics
Working knowledge of Programming languages such as .Net, HTML, java scripting.
Sound knowledge in IIS and Apache tom cat
Excellent skills in SQL Server DB
Understanding of IT legislation and processes.
Exploring and troubleshooting skills for any application.
Analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
Integrity, judgement and professionalism.
Minimum experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
