- Conduct desk and thematic reviews in the Middle East and Turkey (ME&T) region using a risk based approach, including managing the relationship with all the stakeholders, performing testing, drafting and agreeing the report.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings throughout the life-cycle of the review (e.g. opening / closing meetings, preliminary findings meetings, etc.)
- Keep proper record of output, findings, work papers, discussions and agreed action plans
- Validate the appropriate closure of issues and actions raised in the reports
- Contribute to the completion of the Compliance Risk Assessment for the ME&T region, which is a main driver of the Monitoring and Testing plan
- Assigned on an ad hoc basis to special projects within the Compliance function
- Build a strong relationship within Compliance and with Business Partners and other control functions
- Acting as a Compliance contact and may be required to perform Compliance advisory activities from time to time.

Your skills and experience
- Extensive (7-10 years) Compliance, internal audit or any other risk & control function experience in the financial industry, preferably in Private Banking/Wealth Management
- University degree educated
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to produce high quality, concise, well researched written reports.
- Inquisitive, knows what questions to ask and tenacious when something does not sound right
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Exercises good judgement and ability to think out of the box
- Has high ethical and control standards, commensurate with working in a critical control function
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
