Job Description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services UAE for a: HSE Engineer Job Purpose: This position is a unique opportunity to be responsible for Safety and Loss prevention of installations/equipment related to Offshore Oil and Gas Multidisciplinary activities HSE requirements, Hazard controls/Mitigations for a major offshore project. Your main duties will be to: - • HSE Management System understanding and develop, review and Implement HSE Plan for O&G Offshore facilities. • implement PTW system and Gas Testing. • Awareness on H2S & Breathing Apparatus. • Conduct Risk Assessments, HSE Inspections, audits and reviews. • Analyze incidents and apply different root cause analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideally you will have bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering on Science discipline or equivalent with minimum of 12 to 15 years’ experience in Safety and Loss prevention of installations/equipment related to offshore oil & Gas industry. Experienced in Offshore Oil and Gas Multidisciplinary activities HSE requirements, Hazard controls/Mitigations. Minimum NEBOSH GC/IGC or Diploma in Safety/HSE. Lead auditor ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 or equivalent is desired. Other HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage. Good communication and Project Management skills. Thorough knowledge on various hazards associated with O&G equipment Good knowledge of International Standards & Codes Should be familiars in using Computer and prepare reports in word and excel at site Proficiency in English speaking and writing.
